Jazz (Ages 9–11)

This jazz class is grounded in comprehensive dance education and focuses on developing strong, confident, and expressive jazz technique. Students build coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness through structured and progressive instruction.

Classes emphasize proper jazz technique, rhythm, musicality, and dynamic movement quality. Stylized “sassy” jazz elements—such as sharp arm placement, grounded movement, confident walks, directional changes, and performance dynamics—are introduced in an age-appropriate and respectful way that supports artistic expression and stage presence.

Students work through technical exercises, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography that challenge focus, control, and performance skills. Instruction encourages dancers to understand how technique supports style, confidence, and safe movement.

This class supports both technical growth and artistic development, helping dancers develop personality, confidence, and performance quality while maintaining a strong foundation in dance education.
