Britt began dancing at the age of 3 at Diane’s Dance Academy in New Jersey and later trained at New Jersey Ballet and Broadway Dance Center. She danced on the competition dance team at The College of New Jersey and later joined Synergy Company. Britt has also had the opportunity to train under Abby Lee Miller and Gianna Martello on several occasions in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has trained extensively in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, pom, gymnastics, and lyrical dance styles.

In competition, Britt has earned several overall awards, entertainment awards for stage presence, and tap and ballet awards for technique. She was also selected multiple times to perform at nationals with a group of high-scoring dancers.

While in law school at Duke University, Britt taught at a competitive studio in North Carolina where she choreographed and taught award-winning tap solos and competitive tap group dances. While at Duke, she also assisted with the Duke Dance Team, working with pom, jazz, and hip hop styles. In addition, Britt has helped choreograph high school productions and performed in Les Misérables and The Addams Family.

As an instructor and choreographer, Britt focuses on building strong relationships with her students while creating a positive, motivating environment. She is passionate about helping dancers grow not only technically, but also artistically and musically. Britt especially loves teaching tap because of the rhythm, musicality, and performance quality it develops in dancers. She also enjoys choreographing narrative-driven pieces that allow dancers to connect emotionally with movement and tell meaningful stories on stage.
